Global Sneaker Drive
Every year, people throw away millions of sneakers, which end up in landfills. Many people don't realize that it can take decades or even centuries for sneakers to decompose, and when they do, they release toxic chemicals into the air.
But reuse isn’t just good for the planet. It also creates economic opportunity, builds income streams, and keeps resources in circulation.

Through our upcycling initiative, we collected and redistributed 250 pairs of sneakers to to Sneakers4Good, where they were repurposed and given to micro-entrepreneurs who resell them as part of small businesses. This supports income streams and local economies. Sneakers were also sent to One World Running, where they were provided directly to athletes who wouldn’t otherwise have access to proper footwear.
