Bronx River Community Workshop

Goalkeeper founder Chase Kantor received a community grant from the Bronx River Alliance to lead a public nature hike and ecology workshop in Bronxville, NY. The program was designed to activate underused green space and raise awareness about local conservation efforts. Participants followed a guided trail walk along the Bronx River Trailway while using a custom-designed guidebook that included maps, ecological landmarks, and QR codes linking to clean-up events, volunteer opportunities, and public river programs. The project offered a hands-on experience in environmental learning and connected families with simple ways to get involved in restoration efforts.
